Delta Plastics Launches Suite of Upgraded Tech Tools for Farmers

The leader in polytube irrigation announces new and improved Pipe Planner irrigation software as well as a new mobile app for polytube collections called Push for Pick Up.

Little Rock, AR, Feb 26, 2021 – Today Delta Plastics and parent company Revolution announced the launch of two new technology innovations: a Push for Pick Up mobile app and a significantly upgraded version of their well-known Pipe Planner software. Delta has been working to develop both of these tools for well over a year, and they are key components of Delta’s turnkey strategy of offering irrigation solutions for farmers that go beyond just selling polytube.

Since its founding in Stuttgart, AR over 25 years ago, Delta has grown their business based on a unique, vertically integrated business model that bundles polytube manufacturing with plastic waste recycling while emphasizing the preservation of our farmlands and aquifer, the region’s primary irrigation source, through water conservation efforts. Both Pipe Planner and Push for Pick Up are extensions of the company’s commitment to that mission, providing growers with complimentary, user-friendly tools that help them irrigate more efficiently, save money, and ultimately assist in cleaning up their farm at the end of each growing season.

Pipe Planner’s latest release marks the fourth iteration of the software. The new version, funded in part through a partnership with the Natural Resources Conservation Service in Arkansas, includes major feature upgrades to make the tool more user-friendly, including a fully mobile-optimized interface designed to align with how modern-day farmers work in real time, in the field. “We are proud to support our grower’s efforts in conservation,” said Matt Lindsey, Director of Irrigation for Delta Plastics. “The new version of Pipe Planner is mobile-friendly and more reliable than ever. And as always, we have staff ready to help users get started and answer any questions along the way..” To learn more about and access Pipe Planner, visit the Delta website at deltaplastics.com.

Push for Pick Up, Delta’s newest proprietary technology, is a dedicated mobile application designed to help Delta’s end-users request collection of their used polytube product. “We sought to create an easy to use application which would assist in locating used polytube while also expediting the collection process. Said Bret Dague, Vice President of Operations for Revolution. “We want our customers and end-users to know that they can count on Delta to collect their polytube every season, so we created Push for Pick Up to make that process easy and reliable.” The new app is currently available for download on the Apple App Store and will soon be available for Android as well.
